Today the outdoor farming exhibition in Borgeby in the South of Sweden opens. The exhibition is a yearly recurring event and as always you will find Agrinavia at stand F52.
We will present the newest additions to our product line and are looking forward to meeting professional farmers as well as present and future customers.
Also we will be part of the stand with the theme ‘precision farming’. Here you will learn about the research project ‘RoboWeedMaPS’ which Agrinavia is a part of. The project’s aim is to develop a camera that automatically detects and registers weed in the field. It will differentiate between up to 100 different weed plants. Subsequently the system/program will give you precise location of the weed, information about the weed plant and which herbicides to treat most effectively with. In the end this will reduce the farmers use of herbicides in his fields – the ambitious goal is a 80% reduction on the farm.
